Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

Object distance, u = -30 cm ,

Focal length, f = + 15 cm ,

Image distance = ? ,

we know that,

1/u + 1/v = 1/f ,

1/v = 1/f - 1/u ,

1/v = 1/15 + 1/30 ,

1/v = 2+1/30 ,

1/v = 3/30 = 1/10 ,

v = +10 cm.

Sorry,mate i can't help you in image but i am sure that my calculation will atlest will help you.

Here we go,

The distance of object from convex mirror u = - 30 cm

Focal length = 15 cm

Image distance v = ?

So by mirror formula,

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/15 = 1/v + 1/-30

1/15 - 1/-30 = 1/v

-2-1/-30 = 1/v

-3/-30 = 1/v

V = 10 cm

Show image distance is 10 centimetre.

So now image size is,

Magnification m = -v/u

m = -10/-30 = 1/3

Hope this answer will help you
