Answer:u= -50cm

f=-25cm

v=?

Now put mirror formula, i. e

1/f=1/u+1/v

1/v=1/25-1/50=1/50

m=-v/u

=-1/50/-1/50=1

m=hi/ho=hi/10=1

hi=10cm

Answer:

Explanation:

Distance from mirror, u = -50cm

Focal Length, f = -25cm             (concave mirror)

Height of object, h₁ = 10cm

TO find: v and height of image(h₂)

Using the mirror formula,

⇒ 1/u + 1/v = 1/f

⇒ 1/-50 + 1/v = 1/-25

⇒ 1/v = -1/25 + 1/50

⇒ 1/v = -2 + 1 / 50

⇒ 1/v = -1/50

⇒ v = -50 cm

The negative sign indicates that the image obtained is REAL AND INVERTED.

BY maginfication formula,

m = h₂/h₁ = -v/u

⇒ h₂/h₁ = -v/u

⇒ h₂/10 = -(-50)/-50

⇒ h₂ = -1 × 10

⇒ h₂ = -10cm

Ans. Size of the image is -10cm.

Here is your answer

Cheers!
