an object is placed at a distance of 60cm from a concave mirror of focal lenth 20cm. write the nature of the image formed.

focal length = -20 cm
object distance , u = -60 cm
so using the formula :
1/f = 1/v + 1/u
1/-20 = 1/v + (1/-60)
1/v = -1/60 + 1/20
1/v = 2/60
v = 30 cm
