An object is placed at a distance of 6cm ,find the convex mirror of a focal length 12cm.Find the position and nature of the image ?

Formula :- 1/f = 1/v + 1/u

According to the question,

1/12 = 1/v + 1/-6

1/12 = 1/v + 1/-6

1/12 = 1/v - 1/6

1/12 + 1/6 = 1/v

6+12/72 = 1/v

18/72 = 1/v

v = 72/18 ( Reciprocal)

v = 4 cm

Therefore, v = 4 cm.
