An object is placed at a large distance in front of a conex mirror of radius of curvature 40cm. How far is the image behind the mirror ?

Large distance =infinity

The image will form on principle focus of convex mirror because rays coming from infinity when touch mirror get diverged but virtually they meet at principle focus

center of curvature = 2f

$40=2f\\f=\frac{40}{2}\\f=20 cm$
