Solution:

Applying mirror formula:

➠ 1/v + 1/u = 1/f

➠ 1/v + 1/-10 = 1/15

➠ 1/v = 1/15 + 1/10

➠ 10 + 15/150 = 25/100

➠ v = 150/25 = 6cm

• Thus, the image is at the distance of 6cm from the pole.

• The image is formed behind the mirror,virtual, erect and smaller in size.
