★ for convex mirror , focal length = (+)ve

f = +60cm

as object is in front of mirror , it is real .If the image is real and inverted then,

m = hi /ho = - 0.5

now, applying formula

m = f-v /f

=> -0.5 = 60 - V / 60

=> v = 90cm

image distance = 90cm from pole

if image is virtual and erect then,

m = f-v /f

0.5 = 60 - V / 60. ( magnificent is +ve)

v =30cm (from pole)
