Answer:

Given is a Convex Lens,

Focal Length (f) = 20 cm (positive)

Object Distance (u) = 30 cm (negative)

1/v - 1/u = 1/f

= 1/v - (-30) = 1/20

= 1/v + 1/30 = 1/20

= 1/v = 1/20 - 1/30

= 1/v = (3-2)/60

= 1/v = 1/60

= v = 60 cm

Linear Magnification (m) = v/u

= 60/30

= +2

Answer: Image is 60 cm away from lens; Magnification is +2 which means that image is magnified or, enlarged in size; Image is Real.

I hope this helps.
