Given :-

Velocity of body = u = 50 ms-¹

Angle of Projection = Ø

Total time of flight of body = 5 s

We are asked to find the value of angle of Projection.

As we know a relation,

Time of Flight = 2u sinØ/g

5 = 2 × 50 × sinØ/ 10

5 × 10 / 100 = sinØ

sinØ = 1/2

sinØ = sin 30°

Ø = 30°

Hence,

The angle of Projection = Ø = 30°.
