Given info : An object is punted at 25 m/s (40° N of E) on a planet. acceleration due to gravity at that planet is 18 m/s².

To find : the range of the object on level of ground is...

solution : Range , R = u²sin2θ/g

here, angle made by object , θ = 40° N of E = 40° with horizontal..

initial velocity, u = 25 m/s

g = 18 m/s²

now, R = (25)²sin80°/18

= 625 × sin80°/18

= 34.2 m

Therefore the range of the object on level of ground is 34.2 m.
