Distance travelled by first body in 2 seconds = 0.5gt² = 0.5g×4 = 2g
Distance travelled by second body in 2 seconds is = 0.5g(t-1)² = 0.5g
Here time is t-1 because it was dropped 1 second late.
Distance between the 2 objects = 2g - 0.5g = 1.5g = 14.7m
