Given:

  • Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s ( object is starting from rest)

  • Acceleration (a) = 3 m/s²

  • Time (t) = 15 s

To Find:

  • The final velocity of an object.

Solution:

Applying 1st equation of motion,

v = u + at

[ Put the values ]

⇒ v = 0 + 3 × 15

v = 45 m/s

Hence:

The final velocity of an object is 45 m/s.

For infomation:

  • 2nd eqn. of motion, ie,. s = ut + ¹/2 × at²

  • 3rd eqn. of motion, ie,. v² = u² + 2as

  • Work formula, ie,. w = F × s

  • Mirror formula, ie,. 1/v - 1/u = 1/f
