An object is throw vertically upwards. has a velocity of 20m s, when it reaches half of its maximum height. How height from the ground does it rise ?

therefore,

the initial velocity of the object (u) = 20 m/s

and final velocity (v) = 0 m/s

Value of g = -9.8 m/s

from Newton's third equation of the motion =

2 gh = v^-u^

2×- 9.8 × h = 0^ - 20^

-19.6 × h = -400

h = -400/-19.6

h = 2.04 m
