we have , height = 20m

put g = 10

initial velocity ,u = 10 m/s

for horizontal range , the formula is -

R = u √2H/g

= 10 √ 2×20/10

= 10 √ 4

= 10 × 2

= 20 m

Hence , the object strikes 20 m away from the ground in horizontal direction.
