\huge{\underline{\rm{AnsWer:-}}}

★ Height is 20 m

★ Total time is 4 s

\huge{\underline{\rm{ExplainaTion:-}}}

{\underline{\underline{\bf{Given:-}}}}

• Initial velocity(u)= 20 m/s

• Final velocity(v)= 0 m/s

• Acceleration due to gravity (g)= -10 m/s²

{\underline{\underline{\bf{To\:Find:-}}}}

• Maximum height(h)

• Total time taken to return back.

{\underline{\underline{\bf{Solution:-}}}}

Using third equation of motion

{ \bf{v {}^{2}  - u {}^{2}  = 2gh}}

{ \sf{0  {}^{2}  -( 20 ){}^{2}  = 2 \times  - 10 \times h}} \\  \\  { \sf{- 400 =  - 20h}} \\  \\ { \sf{h =   \frac{ { \cancel{- 400}}}{ - { \cancel{20} }}}} \\  \\ { \bf{h = 20 \: m}}
