An object is thrown upward to a height of 10m.Find the velocity with which the object was thrown upwards & also the time required by the object to reach the maximum height.​

H = u^2/2g

10 = u^2/2*9.8

u^2 = 10*2*9.8

= 196

so, u = ✓196 = 14 m/s

hence , velocity of the object when thrown = 14 m/s

time required by the object to reach max. height = time of ascent = u/g

= 14/9.8 = 140/98 = 10/7

= 1.428571.......... s
