As it is initial velocity, it becomes 0. When it reaches the max.height and then comes down, the velocity at max. height is 0.

acc. to question-
v = 0 , a = 10(gravitational attraction force)
u =?
so; 3rd equation of straight line motion-
V² = u²+ 2as
0 = u² + 2(-10)(19.6)
√392 = u
u = 14√2m/s
Hope ,, it will help.
