An object is thrown vertically upwards and rises to height of 5 m. Then, the velocity with which the object was thrown upward is ಥ‿ಥ​

We know v²=u²+2as

Here v=final velocity=0m/s  (as it reaches the maximum height v becomes 0)

u=initial velocity= we need to find

height=h=5m

and a due to gravity =g=-9.8≈-10

Lets put the values

0²=u²+2(-10)(5)

0=u²-100

u²=100

u=10m/s
