An object is thrown vertically upwards from the surface of Earth with 10 J of kinetic energy.. What is the potential energy of the body at the highest point of the motion?

Answer. When an object is thrown vertically upwards then energy conversion takes place ( According to law of conservation of energy). At earth surface the object has highest kinetic energy but when the body reaches at highest point the kinetic energy becomes zero and the object acquires highest potential energ.
