Here is ur answer:

Let the time of the particle be t

using

v = u- gt

t =  \frac{ - u}{ - g}  =  \frac{60}{10}  = 6s

As the time of ascent is equal to the time of descent,

therefore

t= 6+6 =12s

12 s

Let 't' be the time of ascent of object

v = u- gt

v - velocity

u - initial velocity

g - gravitational force

t = \frac{-u}{-g} = \frac{60}{10} = 6s

As the time of ascent is equal to the time of descent, therefore

t = 6+6 = 12s

After 12s the object will it strike the ground
