An object is thrown with velocity 5.2 m⁄s^(-1) vertically upwards on the Moon. The acceleration due to gravity on the Moon is 1.62 m⁄s^(-2) . What is the time taken for the object to return to its starting point

u=5.2m/s         g=-1.62m/s2         v=0 (first we will take out time taken to reach max. height then multiply it by 2 )

v=u+gt

0=5.2+(-1.62t)

5.2=1.62t

t=3.209s

total time taken=3.209*2= 6.418s
