The object distance is 13.3 ( 3 is the magnification) m= f/ f+u

Halemm: By this you get object distance..then by using mirror formula you can calculate image distance

f=20cm
m=3=v/u
1/v + 1/u =1/f
v=3u
1/3u + 1/u= 1/20
solve and you get u=80/3
v=3u
therefore v =80

Halemm: Focal length -ve
Halemm: U is also - ve
Halemm: So u will be -10 right?
batmanandtony: hmm yeah messed that up
Halemm: m = -(v/u)
