An object 'm' of mass 50 kg is lifted by using an
arrangement as shown in the figure. If the load due
to the weight of the pulley and the resistance due to
the friction of the pulley is 2.5 kgwt calculate the
effort required to lift the object. If M.A1and M.A2
are the mechanical advantages of the inclined plane and the pulleys, respectively, derive an expression
for the resultant mechanical advantage of the friction
