Answer:

my child you have to know first that what is the meaning of velocity and how how many types of velocity are there velocity are of two types their final velocity at initial velocity u have to fast new that you to first new date what is that ok first you get the solution of that question then I hope you can get this question also very frequent 6 second you can also calculate the momentum by knowing the the actual meaning of velocity that is very hard and tough and it is the class of 10 or 12 are you belongs which classes if you are lower than 10 or 12 so please ignore the question

Answer:

Initial velocity of the object (u) = 5 m/s

Final velocity of the object (v) = 8 m/s

Mass of the object (m) = 100 kg

Time take by the object to accelerate (t) = 6 s

Initial momentum = mu = 100 × 5

⇒ mu = 500 kg m/s

Final momentum = mv = 100 × 8

⇒ mv = 800 kg m/s

Let us calculate the Force exerted on the object (F)

F = (mv – mu) / t

F = (800 – 500)/6

F = 300 / 6

F = 50 N

Initial momentum of the object is 500 kg m sˆ1.
