Total distance travelled = D1 + D2 + D3
= (18 + 22 + 14) m
= 54 m.
Total time taken = (3+3+3) s
= 9 s.
So,
Average speed = Total distance travelled / Total time taken
=( 54 / 9 ) m/s
= 6 m/s .
