An object moves 26m in the first 3s and 16m in the next 3s while it travels 18m in the last 3s calculate average speed ???
Answers
Given :-
- An object moves 26m in the first 3s and 16m in the next 3s
To find :-
- Average speed of an object
Solution :-
★ In first case ★
- Distance travelled (D1) = 26m
- Time travel (t1) = 3s
★ In second case ★
- Distance travelled (D2) = 16m
- Time taken (t2) = 3s
★ In third case ★
- Distance travelled (D3) = 18m
- Time taken (t3) = 3s
Now, as we know that
- Average speed is defined as total distance travelled by an object in total amount of time.
- Average speed measures the average rate of speed over a trip.
So,
→ Average speed = tatol distance
travelled/total time taken
→ Average speed = D1 + D2 + D3/t1 + t2 + t3
→ Average speed = 26 + 16 + 18/ 3 + 3 + 3
→ Average speed = 60/9
→ Average speed = 6.66m/s
Hence,
- Average speed of an object i.e 6.66m/s
Given :-
An object moves 26m in the first 3s and 16m in the next 3s . While it travels 18m in the last 3s calculate average speed .
To Find :-
Average Speed Of An Object .
Solution :-
In First Case :-
Distance Traveled { D1 } = 26 metres
Time Taken { t1 } = 3 seconds
In Second Case :-
Distance Traveled { D2 } = 16 metres
Time Taken { t2 } = 3 seconds
In Third Case :-
Distance Traveled { D3 } = 18 metres
Time Taken { t3 } = 3 seconds
Now As We Know That :-
- Average Speed is defined as total distance traveled by an object in total amount of time .
- Average Speed measures the average rate of speed over a trip .
So ,
- Average Speed = Total Distance Traveled / Total Time Taken .
- Average Speed = D1 + D2 + D3 / t1 + t2 + t3
- Average Speed = 26 + 16 + 18 / 3 + 3 + 3
- Average Speed = 60/9
- Average Speed = 6.66 m/s
Hence ,
Average Speed Of An Object is 6.66 m/s
