Answer:

speed = distance / time

= 360/ 3

= 120 km/ h

to find in m/s

time = 3 ×60×60 = 180 ×60 = 10800 sec

distance = 360 = 360000 m

speed = distance/ time

= 360000/10800

= 33.33 m/s

Given:-

  • Distance = 360 km.
  • Time = 3 hour's

To find:-

  • Speed of object in km/h and in m/S

Solution:-

Formula for speed is

✤ Speed =  \frac{d}{t}

In which,

  • 'd' is distance of object.
  • 't' is time taken by object.

So, Put distance and time in above formula,

 \implies \frac{d}{t}

 \implies \frac{360}{3}

 \implies 120 km/h

Conversion:-

Speed of object (in m/s)

 \implies 120 \times \frac{5}{18}

 \implies 33.333 m/s

Therefore,

☆Speed of object (in km/h) is 120 km/h.

☆Speed of object (in m/s) is 33.33 m /s.
