Answer:

(a) 22 cm

(b) 0.18 m/s

(c) 14 cm

(d) 0.17 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

[Here we take π = 22/7]

Given diameter 14 cm

So radius is 7 cm

(a) In a circle, two diametrically opposite points are the points which are placed at the two ends of a diameter drawn through these points.

The object travels half the circumference when it goes from one point to its diametrically opposite point.

So distance travelled:

d = 1/2 (2 π r)

= π r

= (22/7)×7

= 22 cm

(b) Speed = distance/time

= 22/120

= 11/60

= 0.18m/s

(c) Displacement is the shortest distance from initial point to fibrous point

So, s = 2r = 14 cm

(d) Average velocity is displacement/ time.

So avg velocity,

= 14/120

= 7/60

= 0.17 m/s

Hope that helps
