Given

a = 2m/s^2

u = 10m/s

t = 2s

we know that

v = u + at

v = 10 + 2*2

v = 14 m/s

Given :

  • An object moves along a straight line with an acceleration of 2 m/s². If its initial speed is 10 m/s.

To find :

  • What will be its speed 2 seconds later?

Using formula :

  • First equation of motion.

Final velocity = Initial velocity + Acceleration × Time.

Calculations :

→ v = u + at

→ v = 10 + 2 (2)

→ v = 10 + 4

v = 14 m/s

Therefore, the speed after 2 seconds is 14 m/s.
