Given :

▪ Initial speed = 10m/s

▪ Acceleration = 2m/s²

▪ Time interval = 2s

To Find :

▪ Final speed of object after the given interval of time.

Concept :

✴ Since, acceleration of body has said to be constant throughout the motion, we can easily apply equation of kinematics to solve this question.

First equation of kinematics :

\bigstar\:\underline{\boxed{\bf{\red{v=u+at}}}}

  • v denotes final speed
  • u denotes initial speed
  • a denotes acceleration
  • t denotes time

Calculation :

\dashrightarrow\tt\:v=u+at\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\tt\:v=10+(2\times 2)\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\tt\:v=10+4\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\underline{\boxed{\bf{\blue{v=14\:mps}}}}\:\orange{\bigstar}

Given:-

  • Acceleration of object = 2m/s²

  • Initial velocity = 10m/s

  • Time taken = 2s

To Find:-

  • Final velocity of object

Solution :-

By using 1st equation of motion

➦ v = u+at

➭ v = 10+2m/s²×2

➭ v = 10+4

➭ v =14m/s

∴ The speed of object after 2second is

14m/s

_______________________________

Equation of motion are!!!!

v = u+ at

s = ut +1/2at²

v²= u² +2as

where,

u is the initial velocity

v is the final velocity

t is the time taken

s is the distance covered

a is the acceleration
