. An object moves along a straight line with an acceleration of 2 m/s2 . If its initial speed is 10m/s, what will be its speed after 5s later?

Here is the answer---

Given Conditions ⇒

Acceleration = 2 m/s².
Initial Speed(u) = 10 m/s.
Time(t) = 5 seconds.


Using the Formula,

 Acceleration =  \frac{v - u}{t}
                   2 =  \frac{v - 10}{5}
                  v - 10 = 10
                    v = 20 m/s.


Thus, velocity of the body after 5 seconds will be 20 m/s.
