An object moves for 30 seconds at a speed of 40m/s .What is the distance travelled by the car?

Since we all are aware of this formula --> distance = speed x time

1) we have to check whether the given information is in the same units or not, so here the given info. is in the same units i.e. 30seconds and 40m/s.

2) we just have to place the values in the formula, so

(distance = speed x time)

therefore, distance  = 40 x 30

Hence, distance travelled by the car = 1200m
