let distance between A to B = x
from A to B
speed = 60 m/ sec
time = distance/speed
time = x/60
now From B to A
speed = 144×5/18
= 40m/sec
time = distance/speed
time = x/40
total time = x/60 +x/40
= 5x/120
then average speed = total distance/total time
= 2x/5x/120
=2x X 120/5x
=48m/sec
from A to B
