If an object goes from point A to point B on a semi circular path, then the distance covered will be the length of the arc and the displacement will be the diameter.
 \frac{ \frac{\pi \times r \times x}{180} }{2r}
Where r = distance between A and B
and x = angle made by the semi-circle which is 180 degrees.
 \frac{\pi \times r \times x}{360r}
 \frac{\pi \times x}{360}
 \frac{\pi \times 180}{360}
 \frac{\pi}{2}

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

As the magnitude of displacement always either less than or equal to distance travel. Hence, the numerical ratio of displacement to distance is either less than or equal to 1.

Hope this helps ☺️
