Average speed=total distance travelled/total time taken
Now,total distance travelled=
Distance of first half(d1)+distance of second half(d2)
D1=s1×t1=10×5=50 m.
D2=s2×t2=5×10=50 m.
So,total distance=50+50=100 m.
Now average speed=100/10+5
100/15=6.67m/s
