Let is consider two objects of equal masses (m) and moving with velocity V1 and V2 at time t ( > V2 ). If the two objects starting from rest then their initial velocities will be zero .

Now according to work energy theorem .

W = / K.E ( Change in kinetic energy ).

work done by object (1), W1 = 1/2 m V12 - 0

and work done by object (2) , W2 = 1/2 mV22 - 0

=> W1> W2 (as V1>V2)
