An object moving on a rough surface experiences a constant frictional force of 30N which decelerates it at a rate of 1.2 m/s^2 . Find the mass of the object??

mass = 25 kg

Explanation:

Given

Force = 30 N

acceleration is negative because it is decelerating so a = -1.2

F = ma

30 = m ( -1.2 )

m = 30/ -1.2

m = 300 /12

m = 25kgs

Note : mass is never in negative so the mass of the object is 25 kgs..
