WE USE THE FORMULA, a= v - u/ t

We have,

initial velocity, u = 80m/s

final velocity,v = 60m/s

time, t = 5s

Now, we put the values in formula

a= v - u/t

or, a= [60 - 80]/5

or, a= -20/5

Hence, a= -4m/s^2
