Given:

An object moving with a speed of 35m/s and has a kinetic energy of 1500 J.

To find:

Mass of the object?

Calculation:

The expression for kinetic energy of object of mass m and moving with velocity v is :

 \sf \therefore \: KE =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times m \times  {v}^{2}

 \sf \implies \: 1500 =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times m \times  {(35)}^{2}

 \sf \implies \:  m \times  {(35)}^{2}  = 3000

 \sf \implies \:  m \times  1225 = 3000

 \sf \implies \:  m  =   \dfrac{3000}{1225}

 \sf \implies \:  m  =   2.44 \: kg

So, mass of the object is 2.44 kg.
