An object of 25 g mass is moving with 18 km/h and an additional force of 100 N is applied on the
object . Calculate the distance covered by the body in 5 minutes .

Given:-

  • Mass of Object = 25g

  • Initial Velocity = 18km/h = 5m/s

  • Force Applied = 100N

  • Time Taken = 5min = 300s.

To Find:-

  • The Distance Covered bt Object in 5 minutes.

Formulae used:-

  • F = ma

  • S = ut + ½ × a × t²

Where,

  • F = Force
  • m = Mass
  • a = Acceleration
  • S = Distance
  • u = Initial Velocity
  • t = Time.

Now,

\implies\sf{ F = ma }

\implies\sf{ 100 = 0.025 × a}

\implies\sf{ 100 = 0.025a}

\implies\sf{ \dfrac{100}{0.025} = a}

\implies\sf{ 4000= a}

Thus, The Value of Acceleration is 4000m/.

Now,

\implies\rm{ S = ut + ½ × a × t²}

\implies\rm { S = 5 × 300 +½ × 4000 × (300)²}

\implies\rm{ S = 1500 + 2000 × 90000}

\implies\rm{ S = 1500 + 180000000}

\implies\rm{ S = 180015km}
