an object of 25 gram mass is moving with 18 kilometre per hour and an additional force of hundred newton is applied on the object calculate the distance covered by the body in 5 minutes​

u=18 km/hr = 18×5/18= 5m/s

Now, mass of object=25 gms= 0.025 kg

And the force applied=100N

Since F=ma

therefore a=F/m

a= 100/0.025=4000m/s^2

Time taken=5 mins= 5×60=300 sec

So by 2nd equation of motion i.e.

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=5×300+ 1/2 × 4000×90000 =

180,001,500 metres
