Explanation:

We need to know that object distance and focal length is negative in a concave mirror

1/f = 1/v + 1 /u

v= uf/u-f

u=-2

f=-3

v=6/1 = 6cm.

as no negative sign it is virtual,magnified.

Answer:

image distance is (-30/7)cm and nature of the image is Real, inverted and diminished..

Explanation:

IN CASE OF CONCAVE MIRROR,,

Given, u (object distance) = -10cm.(infront of the mirror).

H1 (height of the object) = 2cm.

f (focal length) = -3cm. (infront of the mirror).

By the concave mirror,,,

1/v+1/u = 1/f.

; 1/v+(-1/10) = -1/3.

; 1/v = 1/10-1/3.

; 1/v = 3-10/30.

; 1/v = -7/30.

Reciprocal the fraction,,

; v = (-30/7) cm.
