Answer:

MARK AS BRAINLIEST

Object distance, u = -18 cm

Focal length,f= -12 cm

By mirror formula,

1/v+1/u=1/f

1/v=1/-12+1/18

=-3+2/36

=-1/36

v= -36 cm

image distance =36 cm

m=-v/u= 36/-18 =-2

Sincemagnification is negative .

So, image is real and inverted

object size = 4 cm

M= image size/object size

. So, image size = -2×4

=-8

so, image size is 8 cm

*m is magnification

negative sign for image distance shows image is in front of the mirror

negative sign for image sige shows that it is formed below the principal axis
