Given:

The height of the object (O) = 5 cm.

Magnificent(m) = 2.

To find:

The height of the image (I)

Solution:

Height of the object(O) = 5 cm.

Magnificent of the image (m)= 2

Height of the image(I) = ?

From the formula we get that,

Magnificent of the image = \dfrac{Height of the image}{Height of the object}

So, m = \dfrac{I}{O}

or, 2 = \dfrac{I}{5}

or, \dfrac{I}{5} = 2

or, I = (2).(5)

Or, I = 10 cm.

∴ The height of the image is 10 cm.

Answer:

              The height of the image is 10 cm.
