Answer:

Height of object Ho = +5cm

Distance of object u= -10cm

Radius of curvature R= 150cm

Focal length f = 150/2= -75cm

Explanation:

FROM MIRROR FORMULA WE HAVE

I/V + 1/u = 1/f

1/v = -1/75 - (-1/10)

1/v = -1/75 + 1/10

1/v = + 13/150 cm

HENCE THE NATURE OF IMAGE IS VIRTUAL

The position of image is 13/150 = 0.086 cm in front of the mirror.

Now,

Height of object = +5cm

magnification, m = -v/u

= 13/150 / 10

m = 13/150* 1/10

m= 13/1500

Now, since m<1so the image formed is smaller than the object

m = hi /ho

m = hi/5

13/1500 *5 = hi

13/300 = hi

hi = 0.0433 cm

Hope it helps you
