an object of height 1.5 cm is placed on axis of a convex lens of focal length 25cm. a real image is formed at a distance of 75 cm from the lens the size of the image will be?

Height of object = 1.5 cm
F = -25 cm
V = 75 cm
U = F * 2 = -25 * 2 = -50 cm [Object on axis, which is the center]
We know,
M = V/U
M = 75/(-50)
M = 3/(-2) = -1.5
Therefore,
the image is magnified 1.5 times and is real & inverted.
