Answer:

Explanation:

HEIGHT OF OBJECT = 1 CM

OBJECT DISTANCE, U = - 5 CM

FOCAL LENGTH , F = - 10 CM

IMAGE DISTANCE , V=?

MAGNIFICATION = - (V/U)

MIRROR FORMULA,

1/V+1/U = 1/F

1/V-1/5 = -1/10

1/V = -1/10+1/5

V = 10 CM

M = - (10/-5)

M = + 2

THEREFORE THE IMAGE IS FORMED ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MIRROR SINCE THE VALUE OF  V IS POSITIVE.

THE IMAGE IS VIRTUAL, UPRIGHT AS M IS POSITIVE  . THE IMAGE IS MAGNIFIED AS THE VALUE OF M IS > THAN 1.

HOPE THIS HELPS.
