By convention, the focal length of a convex mirror is negative. Therefore, f = - 15 cm. Applying the mirror formula, we obtain: - 1 / 15 = 1 / 30 + 1 / Di → Di = - 10 cm

The image is virtual (Di is negative) as it should be because the mirror is convex; the image is diminished by a third (2/3 cm), as it should be because the mirror is convex; and the its position is inside the mirror, as it should be because the mirror is convex.

BONUS: the image is ERECT, as it should be because it’s virtual

Fojuman: Thanks, but the focal length is 15
Fojuman: Sorry, is 20
