An object of height 2cm is placed at a distance of 30cm from convex lens of focal length 10cm.Find the position, Nature and height of the image.

ho=+2cm,​u=-30 cm,f=+10 cm
1/f=1/v+1/u ( lens formula)
1/10=1/v + 1/-30
1/v = 1/10 -(1/-30)
1/v = 4/30 (taking LCM)
v = 30/4
V/u =hi/ho
hi=30/4/-30 * 2
hi = -1/2 image is real inverted and diminished and image is formed 7.5cm in front of mirror
