Given :-
- Height of object (ho) = + 5cm
- Object distance (u) = -15cm
- Image distance (v) = + 10cm
To find :-
- Focal length (f)
Solution :-
According to the Mirror Formula
→ 1/v + 1/u = 1/f
→ 1/10 - 1/15 = 1/f
→ 1/f = 3 - 2/30
→ 1/f = 1/30
→ f = +30cm
Hence,
- Focal length of convex mirror is + 30cm
Extra Information
- Magnification of Mirror
- m = -v/u = hi/ho
